Iow...Iowa vs. Purdue is a huge game for each team. Iowa has done well, since 1979 and the arrival of J. Hayden Fry in this series and Coach Ferentz has continued it.My alias is Rob Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01318144770928221005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21207445.post-36008163948182847072007-06-29T17:57:00.000-04:002007-06-29T17:57:00.000-04:00Andy, I'd love for you to be right, but you are at...Andy, I'd love for you to be right, but you are at the extreme optimistic edge for the Boilers this year. Catching CMU and ND at home and Toledo on the shores of Lake Erie doesn't sound like a 4-0 start unless you at LEAST Penn State/Wisconsin caliber--and we aren't. In the league, I also went 4-4 but with a win over IU (especially with the tragic death of Hep--remember NU's struggles last year) and only a split in the Minny/Iowa games. A Boiler win over Penn State would be a big (albeit pleasant) surprise and we will do well to keep the Michigan and OSU games close. I'm guessing 7-5, but 6-6 is very realistic and I could conceive of the Boilers staying home in December/January.Dan Meyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15615244752464618948noreply@blogger.com
