Shocking loss for the Northwestern Football Community...
I was terribly saddened to read this morning of the passing of Northwestern football coach Randy Walker. Walker continued the recent trend of keeping the one time doormat of the Big Ten in bowl contention each and every year.

The 52-year old died of an apparent heart attack last night.

My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with his family and the Northwestern family as well.

Saddened to see this. Walker's accomplishments the last several years were impressive. A reminder of the stresses of big-time head coaching and a caution (as S4E would say) of the brevity of life; especially for those of us who are middle-aged.
