I'm back!
Okay, so it isn't like my email box was filling up with you guys wondering where I am, but I haven't fallen totally off the face of the earth.

It has been a really busy stretch at work with two product lines and two spokespeople to manage. All good, just busy. Oh and plenty to do at home, between being a husband, dad, co-taxi driver (with my wife), sports supporter...

Anyway, enough about me. It's good to be back. Basketball was interesting, to say the least. Spring football has come and gone. The situation at OSU is a debacle and my prediction is that it will only get worse. Billboards in Michigan proclaim "Liar, liar, vest on fire!" Nebraska is joining our ranks and before we know it, this cold, wet spring will give way to a quick summer and - viola - football season.

I do promise to work to get to my previews again this year and to check in a little more regularly than I have been.

Meantime, ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg gives enough great info to tide us over...

Welcome back, Andy! Regarding next football season--early analysis doesn't look promising for Purdue--we are probably a double-digit seed for the upcoming campaign. My early thoughts are: Nebraska shares the Big Ten title with one of the following: Iowa, Michigan State or Wisconsin. Ohio State will still be dangerous and bowl-bound, but the NCAA scandal will be too distracting for them to be as good as the last decade. Michigan, Northwestern and Penn State probably will make bowls but are unlikely to seriously contend for the Big Ten title. Of the other four, Illinois or IU probably have the best chance for a minor bowl.

Nice to see you back Andy. What a mess going on since we all last picked.

I'll agree with Dan's predictions. No idea what the whole outcome will be at OSU, but Fickell has some good talent at his disposal.
