Big Ten top is clear, the middle? Not so much...
One more win and that long, painful wait for another Big Ten title is totally over. For those who had their head in the sand last week... Michigan popped Purdue in the mouth and then Michigan State got a rare win on Senior Day in Champaign (first ILL loss at home on said day since 1999) to clinch a tie for the title.
Get Gamm is starting to clear up too. With just this one last week to go, I've got a two game lead on the pack. No one beat me last week so it's just me vs. the field. Can Buckeye Nation pick up the games to beat me and re-claim his title?
Here are the games this week:
Tuesday:
Michigan State at Indiana
Ohio State at Iowa
Wednesday:
Northwestern at Purdue
Wisconsin at Minnesota
Thursday:
Illinois at Penn State
Saturday:
Michigan at Minnesota
Penn State at Iowa
Sunday:
Purdue at Michigan State (tiebreaker)
Northwestern at Ohio State
Indiana at Wisconsin
And I'll leave you with this... if Travis Walton isn't B10 Defensive Player of the Year, something is seriously wrong. What about B10 PoTY? That one is a wide open race. My vote? Stay tuned!

DPOY- Chris Kramer!!!
Mayo you think NW will beat Purdue AT purdue on Senior Night?? I hope you're wrong, we're playing pretty well right now since most of our guys are healthy finally
I'd put Walton on the All-Defensive Team; but I'd put Chester Frazier (IL) as DPOY--AND Damien Johnson (MN) and Chris Kramer (PU) are also worthy of DPOY consideration.
On to the picks:
MICHIGAN STATE 69 at Indiana 63--Spartans win, THEEEE Spartans win (sigh).
OHIO STATE 68 at Iowa 64--No stopping Matta from the Big Dance this year.
Northwestern 62 at PURDUE 72--Tempted to ask Mayo if he wants to bet on this one--Boilers have been TOUGH in Mackey since the Illini slip-up.
Wisconsin 64 at MINNESOTA 66--Home court plus Gophers probably have more at stake.
ILLINOIS 68 at Penn State 65--Illini want chance at #2 seed.
MICHIGAN 69 at Minnesota 69--In effect, NCAA play-in game. Wolverines have looked focused since the Iowa fiasco.
PENN STATE 64 at Iowa 62--Win here SHOULD get Nittanies into Big Dance, though a first-round win in the Big Ten tourney sure won't hurt.
PURDUE 69 at Michigan State 66--Biased pick without a doubt--but Boilers have #2 seed to play for.
Northwestern 58 at OHIO STATE 65--Wildcats deserve to play in NIT.
Indiana 55 at WISCONSIN 72--First blow-out of the Hoosiers in awhile.

Hey Phats, not that I think NU is really going to win, but that's my upset pick to keep me out of the basement in GG.
